This is a hardy succulent that has dark green leaves, it is the tallest and darkest sansevieria. The leaves grow up to three feet long and up to 1 inch wide.  When grown in low light the color of the leaves is almost black.  Feed every month throughout the summer with a general-purpose fertilizer that is diluted to one-half the strength suggested on the container.   This plant has air-cleaning capabilities by removing formaldehyde, xylene, and trichloroethylene from the air.  This plant can be mildly toxic to humans, cats, and dogs.
